Nigerian forward, Victor Moses’ dwindling fortunes received a massive boost as he was among the players listed on the English Premier League team of the week.

The former Crystal Palace player, who was on loan at Liverpool last season, registered his first Premier League assist since January 2012 with the solitary strike which earned his team, Stoke City a win in their match against QPR over the weekend.

According to BBC Football analyst, Garth Crook, “I’ve been a fan of Victor Moses since his days at Crystal Palace. That said, I don’t think he fulfilled his true potential at Chelsea or Liverpool, although he would have benefited from the experiences.

“Against QPR, however, the Stoke winger looked like the performer he was during his time at Wigan”.

One of Nigeria’s Super Eagles best performers at the title winning AFCON 2013 side, moved to Stoke City in a bid to resurrect his career which nose-dived while he was on loan at Liverpool where he only played second fiddle to Raheem Sterling.
