Kaduna United and Enyimba cruised to wide margin wins in the Glo Premier League on Sunday.

The Crocodiles, as Kaduna United are nicknamed, dismissed Crown FC 5-0 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium while Enyimba made light work of former Nigerian champions by 4-0 in Aba.

Siman Yusuf scored two quickfire goals in the opening six minutes of the game for Kaduna United to kill off their match-up with Crown FC as a relegation contest.

Right on the stroke of half time, Musa Suleiman made it 3-0 for Kaduna United with a cool finish.

Five minutes into the business end of the match, Siman completed his hat-trick as Crown FC's defence were at sixes and sevens.

But the Crocodiles were not done yet with struggling Crown FC, as Marshal Ani rounded off the scoring spree by netting the fifth.

The win lifts Kaduna United away from relegation as they climb from 19th spot to 15th position in the standings.

In Aba, Enyimba scored two late goals in the first half through Chimezie Amanfor and substitute Mfon Udoh to race into a two-goal lead at the break against hapless Bayelsa United.

The People's Elephant continued pressing high up against Bayelsa United and Nzube Anaezemba scored the third with a curling effort in the 55th minute.

Substitute Emeka Nwanna added gloss to the score by scoring the fourth goal for Enyimba with a sublime finish by scooping the ball over Bayelsa United goalkeeper, Ambrose Vanzekin at the death.

Enyimba stay in third place with 43 points, but four behind league leaders, Kano Pillars.

Pillars barely edged Akwa United in a tight contest with a 1-0 win thanks to Adamu Hassan's goal.

In the early kick-off of match day 27, El-Kanemi Warriors defeated Heartland 2-1. Nafiu Bala and Abraham Audu scored for El-Kanemi while a late goal by Julius Ubido proved to be elementary for Heartland.

Rangers ended a five-year hoodoo against Warri Wolves by winning a first league game against the Warri club in their last 10 head-to-head meetings. Christian Obiozor scored the winner from the spot.

Nasarawa United stayed in second place with a 2-0 win over Sharks. Ugochukwu Leonard and Tony Edjomariegwe got the goals for Nasarawa United.

Goals from Chizoba Amaefule and Emem Eduok proved just enough to help Dolphins to a 2-0 win over Gombe United. Dolphins had to wait till the last 20 minutes of the match to see off the Savannah Scorpions.

Two goals from the spot by Mohammed Saleh gave Giwa FC a two-goal lead against FC Taraba. Shuaibu Ibrahim finished off FC Taraba by scoring the third in the 90th minute.

Sunshine Stars ran over Abia Warriors 3-1 at the Akure Stadium. Dele Olorundare, Tunde Adeniji and Musa Newman gave the Akure Gunners a three-goal lead before a late goal by Peter Onyekachi reduced the deficit for Abia Warriors.

However, the game between Nembe City and Lobi Stars did not finish as the former led 2-1 inside the last 10 minutes.

Okpose Martins and Emmanuel Egesi scored for City and Mohammed Farouk got Lobi's goal to halve City's lead, but a late penalty to Lobi led to a protest by City and the match was abandoned.
