Gombe state Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has stated that Aba has the potential of being Africa’s economic hub, following his visit to the Enyimba city.

Dankwambo made this known on Friday, during a project inspection with the Executive Governor of Abia state, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

“This city with all I have seen so far has the potential of being Africa’s economic hub. Lots of young entrepreneurs doing amazing thing,” He said.

He commended Gov. Ikpeazu for his efforts in finding a lasting solution to flooding which had hitherto ravaged the city.

‪He said: ”In his quest to find a lasting solution to the flooding problems in Aba, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is constructing a Water Collection Dam that sucks and evacuates all running waters in Aba City to control erosion. Very commendable!
