Three dead as suspected herdsmen attack villagers in Adamawa

No fewer than 3 persons have been confirmed dead in an attack carried out by suspected herdsmen in Kikon Village of Numan Local Government Area in Adamawa State. 

Channels TV reports that the herdsmen riding on motorbikes stormed the village at about 2 am today Sunday, January 21st and attacked the villagers who were asleep. The attackers set homes on fire and also destroyed food barns. 

This attack is the latest, following raids by herdsmen on Mbang and Baga villages of Numan Local Government Area in the last two weeks.
