FG asked to assist Radio Nigeria

The federal government through the federal ministry of Information has been called upon to assist in ensuring that Radio Nigeria, Pace setter FM,Umuahia  is fully restored after the fire outbreak that gutted the radio station recently.

 

Abia state commissioner for Information, Mr John Okiyi Kalu made the appeal when he paid a familiarization visit to the station at Amakama, Umuahia South LGA.

He commended the management and staff of the station for  their diligence and perseverance under the present difficult situation and assured that Abia State government will continue to support the radio  outfit within available resources to discharge its functions.

He promised that the government will partner the management of the station for effective service delivery.

Conducting the commissioner round the station, the Head of Engineering , Engr Chike Nduagu pointed out that Pace Setter FM is desperately in need of the state government’s assistance.

He thanked the commissioner for the visit to Pace Setter FM which  clearly shows his love for them and pledged to partner with the state government to serve Abia state better.
