Ikpeazu swears in four new permanent secretaries

-       Calls for more commitment from the civil service


In a bid to reposition the civil service for more effective service delivery, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Wednesday, swore in four new Permanent Secretaries in the service.


The Governor used the event to renew his call to civil servants to redouble their efforts and commit more to increasing the effectiveness of the service for the good of our state.

 

 
He congratulated the new Permanent Secretaries and told them that their elevation to the zenith of the civil service was a clear function of merit and their long years of dedicated service to the state. 

 


He urged them to bring their experiences to bear in their new assignments and assured that those who work hard and show commitment will be rewarded and elevated in due season.


The new Permanent Secretaries are -

1. Mr. Kingsley Ogba Nwokoro
2. Pharmacist Chimaroke Chigozie Chinedu
3. Mrs. Ann C Uma
4. Mr. Henry Nwachukwu.

The oath of allegiance was administered on them by the State Solicitor General, Enyinnaya Okezie, Esq.

Their spouses were in attendance while top officials of government witnessed the event which took place at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House Umuahia.
