Chairman of the Commission, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu who made the disclosure during a consultative forum with media establishments, also assured that though there is no logistic problem so far, the Commission will not adopt e-transmission in the election.

He said that while 5200 card readers have been tested, trusted and ready for deployment, the remaining 1000 machines are still undergoing test, just as he equally disclosed that the Commission might conduct a bye-election for the vacant State Assembly election on the same day with the Anambra governorship poll.
