Impeached Delta Assembly Speaker Suspended For three months

Rt.Hon. Monday Ovwigho Igbuya

The impeached Speaker of Delta State of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Monday Ovwigho Igbuya has been suspended for three months.

Also suspended indefinitely is the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Tim Owhefere.

Igbuya was impeached over alleged financial high handedness and misappropriation of funds.

The member representing Isoko South and the member representing Warri South-West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Johnson Erijo moved and seconded the motion for the impeachment of the Speaker this morning.

Hon. Igbuya, it was gathered is, however, working so hard to ensure the reversal of his impeachment as he and his associates have refused to pick their calls; but whether the impeached Speaker will be called back or not remains in the hands of his political godfathers, Dailypost reports.
