Tinubu Writes Police IGP, ‘Dino Melaye After My Life’

Senator Remi Tinubu has reported Senator Dino Melaye to the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, over their recent altercation. Tinubu said her life isn’t safe anymore and requested police protection from Mr. Idris. “During the proceedings of the Senate on Tuesday, July, 14, 2016, I had cause to contribute to a matter of national importance. Apparently dissatisfied with my contributions, Senator Dino Melaye threw caution to the winds, resorted to vulgar abuse of my person and wanted to assault me,” she said in a letter written to Mr. Idris. |
