More Solidarity for Gov.Ikpeazu as Court Extends Stay of Execution to July 25

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has vowed to defend the mandate freely given to him by the people of Abia with all within his powers. This is coming even as the Osisioma High Court in Aba Extends his stay of Execution to Monday, July 25.

Speaking when he received the people of Umuahia South Local Government Area,who came on a Solidarity visit to Government House,Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu said what is happening in Abia is not about him but about Abians who worked hard through their ballots to see him become the Governor of the state.

Governor Ikpeazu while maintaining that anyone who desires to occupy the governorship seat must campaign in all the Local Governments of the state, including the wards and must present himself for election having fulfilled all the constitutional, and electoral acts,PDP guidelines and other requirements of the law, assured the people of victory at the end of the day.
He said God is involved in the case of Abia, noting that those who prefer justice to injustice will get one.

The Governor said he is strengthened by the visit of the people and must ensure that what is due to them is given to them as and when due. 
He stressed that he has a mandate of truth,equity and fairness And that he must uphold.
He urged the people to allow peace to reign pending the determination of the courts.

Umuahia South Local Government Chairman,Randy Ukanwoke while reading out the communiqué signed by the stakeholders said the people of the local Government has implicit confidence in the governor and his leadership, while pledging their unalloyed support for him.

He added that the group condemns in its totality Ogah's move to become the Governor of the state as well as the judgement of Justice Okon Abang.

The group who came with some placards that had inscriptions like "OVI is Our Governor ""UCHE Ogah Wait for your turn",among others were led on the visit By a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.
