The Federal Government has announced the appointment of the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of six parastatal agencies under the Ministry of Information and Culture. The appointments were announced in Abuja by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Mr Bayo Onanuga is the Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria. Mr Yakubu Mohammed as Director-General of Nigerian Television Authority, Mr Osita Okechukwu as Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Mr Mansur Liman, the Director-General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Mr Ishaq Modibo-Kawu, Director-General of Nigerian Broadcasting Commission and Garba Abari, Director-General of National Orientation Agency.
The new appointees would replace the CEOs of the organisations who were disengaged on Feb. 15 and their appointments take effect immediately.
