John Kerry Links Political Crisis To Climate Change In Nigeria And Syria

United States Secretary of State, John Kerry has said that the negative effects of climate change are linked to the political crisis in countries like Nigeria and Syria.

Kerry stated this on Tuesday, ahead of a United Nations Summit on Environmental issues scheduled for later this month.
He emphasized that in Nigeria; climate change didn’t lead to terrorist attacks, but noted that the presence of drought created political and economic vitality for terrorists.
The United Nations Summit slated for November 30th to December 1st, seeks to limit rise in global temperatures.
