The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), has accused the presidency of witch hunting it's members with its anti corruption campaign ,adding that the fight should be holistic.

This is coming as the Senate Minority Leader and Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio was invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for interrogation.

Speaking to newsmen, the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Olisa Metuh described the invite extended to Akpabio as orchestrated plan of the APC to intimidate, harass and ultimately push it's members into joining the ruling party

Metuh alleged that there are petitions before the EFCC against former governors Rotimi Amaechi and Babatunde Fashola which are yet to receive the desires attention.

But in a swift reaction, the Media Adviser to the President, Femi Adesina said the allegations hold no water ,adding that the PDP deserves pity for telling such lies.
Adesina maintained that the opposition appeared to have ran out of ideas.
