APGA Urges Members Not to Resort to Violence

The All Progressives Grand Alliance  has held a press briefing at it's party secretariat in the state capital, Umuahia, following recent judgements delivered by the Abia State Election Petition Tribunal.

At the Press briefing the party said the meeting was aimed at expressing the party's dissatisfaction with the judgement of The Abia State Election Petition Tribunal.
Addressing newsmen, the National Chairman of the party  Nnamdi Prince  frowned at the judgement of the Tribunal.

He stressed that the electoral frame work was designed to favour the respondent and disadvantage the petitioner
The Nation Chairman stated that the party was undergoing reforms aimed at re-branding it into a new party to meet higher targets.

He advised members of the party not to resort to self help but rather seek legal remedies, assuring that APGA Will work in accordance with the law.

The State Chairman of the party, Augustine Ehiemere debunked the rumour that the decision of the party to cause mayhem prompted the postponement of tribunal sittings.

Meanwhile, the Nation Chairman stated that the suspended minority leader of the State House of Assembly would be recalled very soon as the matter is been looked into.

The Press Briefing had in attendance National Executive Members of the party as well as party faithfuls and supporters.
