Five suspects linked to Falae's abduction nabbed

The Nigerian Police Force said it has made a major breakthrough in unraveling those behind the kidnap of an elder statesman and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Olympics Falae. 

Five persons have been arrested by a Special Police Cracking Team handling the investigation, while #800,000, was recovered of the alleged #5 million paid to them as ransom. 

The Police is however, expected to parade the suspects in their custody, before arraigning them in court. The suspects were nabbed at Ekiti, Ondo, and Niger States respectively.

Reports also reveal that the breakthrough was made by operatives of the IGP Special Intelligence Response Team, who were deployed from Abuja to track and fish out the abductors, as the IGP Solomon Arase is said to be personally handling the case. 

Ole Falae, was kidnapped at his Illado farm, along Igbatoro Road, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State on Monday September 21.
