Death Toll Rises In Borno Multiple Blast

Over 50 persons have died and scores injured from the Sunday night multiple blasts in Maidugri, the Borno State Capital.
According to military spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, three blasts reportedly went off, hitting a mosque at Gomari and Ajilari area at about 7:21pm.
He said, though the details of eh blast were yet to be confirmed, the attack signifies high level of desperation on the part of Boko Haram terrorists.
The blast came days after a new audio message from Boko Haram leader; Abubakar Shekau debunked the Nigerian Army’s claim that the troops have regained territory from the militant Islamist group.
