Gov. Ikpeazu reinstates sack SEMI Staff, others

In line with his campaign promises to recall non - indigenes disengaged from Abia Civil Service by the previous administration, the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has reinstated the 102 staff sacked at the State Education Management Board, SEMB, with the payment of their June salaries.
Also, of the 295 non-indigenes in the employ of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board,63 have been approves for reinstatement after clearance by the Auditor General for the Local Governments.
The reinstatement was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Godwin Adindu and geared towards making Abia, home for all.
