Oliseh will do more than coaching : Pinnick

As Nigerians await his official unveiling as the Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, the task of Sunday Oliseh will go beyond just coaching the players, the NFF President has said.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick said the former national team captain will, in addition to his primary responsibility, be engaged in the organization of coaching clinics for other coaches and setting out a roadmap to redefine Nigerian football.

He also allayed fears that his job may clash with the schedule of the technical director of the NFF, Shuaibu Amodu assuring that everything about the operation has been clearly defined.
“The players are the major attraction for any coach and we have the quality of players that can rule the world again so let us all support him to succeed. He will go just beyond coaching, he is going to be coaching coaches, clinics but that will not derail his primary mission of being the technical adviser of the Super Eagles.
“Talking about Oliseh’s role and that of the technical director clashing, I want to state that there will be nothing like that because everything is clearly defined even as they look intertwined. Even Oliseh himself told me that Amodu is his boss and that he cannot wait to work with him.”
On the much talked about temperament of Oliseh, Pinnick said that is of no consequence because every human being has one error or the other adding that what matters is how to manage such attribute with maturity.
The NFF boss further argued that Oliseh has presented himself as a very humble person who is also knowledgeable about his requirements as the gaffer of the national team adding that the terms of operation are clearly defined hence every party is expected to respect it.
