Former Finance Minister and Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has made public a classified government document concerning the Excess Crude oil Account, ECA, following allegations of misappropriation of funds leveled against her.

The former Minister was said to have spent $2.1 billion from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) without authorization.

The allegations were made by Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole after the inaugural meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) on Monday, June 29, 2015.  Okonjo-Iweala earlier defended herself here while also offering to face any judicial enquiry on the allegations.

The document shows how revenues from the ECA were shared between the states from the period of 2011-2014.
