Breaking News: Governor Rochas Okorocha declared winner of Imo governorship poll

Governor Rochas Okorocha of APC has been declared winner of Imo Governorship election by INEC returning officer for Imo State, Prof Ibidapo Obe. He polled 416,996 votes to beat his closest rival, Hon Emeka Ihedioha, of PDP who polled 320,996. Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho of APGA came a distant third with 28,434 votes.

The results were announced earlier this morning at Owerri.
