Abia State Police Command embarks on a road show ahead of the elections

As part of its awareness campaign ahead of the 2015 general elections, the Abia State Police Command has embarked on a road show tagged "show of strength".
The train made up of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Civil Defence and Security Corps, Nigeria Prisons Service, National  Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nigeria Prisons  Service, the Nigeria Police and other security agencies, went round the city of umuahia.

Abia State Police Commissioner Habila Joshak, who outlined the rules of the elections, enjoined all security operatives to perform their duties within the confines of the law.
The road show is part of awareness campaign on the role of the security agencies at the polls.

Meanwhile, in an attractive session held with newsmen, the Abia State Police command reassured of their readiness for the polls and warned politicians against coming to the polling units with armed aides as that will not be tolerated.
The Commissioner of Police, Habila Joshak who enjoined Abians to come out en masse to vote for candidates of their choice, reassured Abians, INEC officials, and both local and international observers of their safety, before, during and after the elections.
