Nigeria is safer under Jonathan than Buhari

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP candidate in Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Sunday explained to Isingwu people in Umuahia North LGA explained why President Goodluck Jonathan must be voted in for another term as the President of Nigeria.

Speaking to a large crowd from the Isingwu Community at the house of a PDP chieftain in the area, Onyedi Okwulehie, the son of Chief Sam Okwulehie and Statesman.  Dr. Ikpeazu said the unity of the country will be retained and security assured under President Jonathan than under Mohammad Buhari.
Dr. Ikpeazu explained that what should be paramount in making a choice of President, come Presidential election in the forthcoming Presidential Election, is the unity and safety of Nigerians pleading with Nigerians "let us keep Nigeria under Jonathan's watch".
He disclosed to the people that when he becomes the Governor of the State, his administration will create atleast 5000 jobs within its first one year in office. He assured the mammoth crowd that job creation is top on his agenda
Ikpeazu who described Ohuhu land which Isingwu is part of as a "cradle of politics in the south east through the late Premier of defunct Eastern Nigeria, Rd. Micheal Okpara, said his government will be youths and idea driven.

Addressing the youths of the community, he reaffirmed that his government of inclusiveness will incorporate the youths.
Speaking earlier, the member representing Ohuhu (Umuahia North State constituency) in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Ejiogu said that the day's gathering presented a covenant with the people. And so, the people should expect adequate commitment that will drive development in the area.
He pledged that the roads in the community will be looked at in the next dispensation, while already built health institutions in the area will be more equipped.
 
Also speaking, the representatives of the community, Chief Anozie Nwokoma, Mrs. Ahuruchi Ibegbulem, Reverend Sam Ekeledo and Hon. Ugochukwu Ezeocha pledged the community's unalloyed support to Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and PDP. They pleaded with Dr. Ikpeazu to reconstruct the access roads to the community as well as equip the health centres in the area and create jobs for the youths of the community when elected. Speaking further, the Special Assistant to Governor TA Orji on e-governance, Mr Nnaji Obed Asiegbu appealed to the community to show the love that they have for their sons and daughters in PDP by voting PDP all the way as bountiful harvest awaits them.
 
The Yoruba community in the State led by Dr. Eniola Jide, pledged their support for PDP in the State, assuring that the Party will not lose in the community in the coming elections.
In his remarks at the occasion, a party faithful, Hon. Francis Kanu, reassured that PDP should not lose sleep over the votes in the community stating that the community had exhibited its trust to the Party in the past and will replicate it in the next elections.
