All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship primary in Delta State has been completed at about 7pm yesterday at the Oshimili Arcade in Asaba with Olorogun O'tega Emerhor emerging the party's flag bearer.

According to the results as announced by the Chairman of the electoral committee, Aliyu Sa'ad, O'tega Emerhor pulled 3,584 out of the 3,781 valid cast votes.

His opponents, Fidelis Tilije got 195 votes while Princess Nana Onwordi got two votes.

Tilije who was Chief Great Ogboru's running mate in 2011 in Democratic People's Party (DPP), had walked out of the election shortly after it commenced. He alleged that the process was already compromised and would not be free and fair. He said the whole process was been to favour Olorogun O'tega Emerhor.

Emerhor from Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta Central, expressed optimism for his Party's victory at the general election in February 2015. He commended the peaceful conduct of the election which had all the delegates duly accredited.
