The European Union has condemned the attack on Kano Central Mosque, during the Friday Jumat prayers in which dozens were killed.

"By targeting a Muslim place of worship, the terroists have again shown their complete disrespect for the sacredness of human life,as well as their desire only to spread terror and suffering",EU High Representative,Federica Mogherini, said in a statement tonight.

She expressed the EU condolences to the families of the victims, the Muslim community and all Nigerians.
"The EU stands with the Nigerian authorities and its people in the fight against terrorism and the respect for human rights". The statement added.
