Manchester United have moved up to fourth in the Premier League after an own goal from Kieran Gibbs and a Wayne Rooney strike gave Louis van Gaal's side a 2-1 victory against Arsenal - despite a late consolation from Olivier Giroud.

The visitors took the lead in the second half when Gibbs put through his own after Antonio Valencia cross-cum-shot hit him on the knee.
