Abia Deputy Speaker Empowers Constituents with equipments, startup capital and more

The Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu has continued with his Direct-Empowerement program as he empowered 4 Youths from Ohafia with various items/machines to enable them start up their own businesses.
These latest beneficiaries of the Deputy Speaker's Direct-Empowerement Program includes;
★ Ahamefula Kalu Aki
★ Ebi Patrick
★ Godwin Uma Iroha a.k.a Goddy and
★ Kalu Ukpabi a.k.a Kalos.
Mr. Ahamefula Kalu Aki received a Washing Machine and a Generator Set with Cash (one year shop rent), Mr. Ebi Patrick also received a Deep Freezer, Mr. Godwin Uma Iroha received a Deep Freezer and a Generator Set with cash while Mr. Kalu Ukpabi (Kalos) was empowered with a Generator Set to support his Barbing Saloon Business.
Speaking while handing over the Machines/items to the beneficiaries, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu stated that the need to meaningfully engage the youths is the main reason behind his move.
According to the law maker who represents the people of Ohafia South Constituency, the gesture is in continuation his direct empowerment program for youths in Ohafia.
He argued that the current rate of unemployment in the country has rendered many youths hopeless and which if not checked would contribute to the already deteriorating security situation in the country.
Rt. Hon. Uchendu noted that his Direct Empowerment Program which has seen him Gift Cars, Washing Machines, Deep Freezers, Big Generator Sets, Cash and other items to Youths in Ohafia is his own way of assisting the Youths to be self employed which in turn would help curb youth restiveness.
He advised the beneficiaries to take their various businesses very seriously so as to be able to take care of themselves and their various families as well as create employment opportunities for other youths within their areas.
In their responses, the beneficiaries thanked the Deputy Speaker for continuously proving himself as the Eyes of the Youths in Ohafia with his Direct-Empowerement Program. The Youths were particularly gracious to the law maker for the Empowerment items various received from him.
They pledged to never disappoint the Deputy Speaker while assuring him of their continues support in his future political endeavours.
