Joe Igbokwe mocks critics; says they are hobgoblin of small minds

Joe Igbokwe, the irrepressible Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) recently took a swipe at his critics, describing them as people who usually do not understand the issues at stake before they begin to criticise.

Recently he has been criticised, mostly by his fellow Igbo on issues of Lagos State “deportation” of some Igbo individuals to Onitsha, Anambra State, as well as the stance of some Igbo people towards his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Describing his critics as “hobgoblin of little minds”, who he does not waste his time listening to their rants about his stance on issues, he explained that many of them do not understand issues before they choose to comment on them. “If it is this stupid constituency that we have here (social media especially), I don’t talk to them. I call them foolish constituencies. It is hobgoblin of small minds, I don’t engage them” he said.

Igbokwe made the remark in a recent exclusive interview with Factnewsonline, where he took time to discuss his antecedents, his activism and proclivity towards independent thinking. He explained that he always critically analyses issues that by the time he takes a position on them nothing would make him change. “You should know that if I stand for something, unless you kill me, I will continue to express it” he said.

Igbokwe also discussed his past publications, his books, as well as the ones that are currently in the works.

(Watch-out for the full interview this Saturday – it is bold, it is sizzling, it is incisive!)
