Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries into the state House of Assembly conducted in parts of the state.
Speaking after casting his vote at the Urban Primary School for the Umuahia Central state constituency seat, the Governor said he was impressed with the quiet and peaceful conduct of the exercise.

He said his expectation was that the best candidate will emerge at the end of the primaries.
He attributed the late commencement of the exercise in some centres to logistics problems, adding that the good thing was that the exercise was progressing smoothly in most centres visited.
